The Loop operates Monday through Saturday except on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.

Bicycle Rack Service
- A bicycle rack is available for use on a first come-first served basis.
- The Linn-Benton Loop and its operator (City of Albany) assumes no liability for damage to bicycles.
Wheelchair Service
- The Linn-Benton Loop provides accessible service for passengers using mobility devices (wheelchairs).
- The transit operator will assist in securing the wheelchair in the spaces provided.

- The Linn-Benton Loop and its operator (City of Albany) does not discriminate in the operation of its programs on the basis of race, color or national origin.

Governing Board
The Linn-Benton Loop is operated by the City of Albany and governed by the Linn-Benton Loop Board. Staffing support for the Linn-Benton Loop Governing Board and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is provided by the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments, through the Albany Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Corvallis Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Loop Service Development Plan

Call-A-Ride Paratransit Service
Call-A-Ride operates within the Albany City limits.
Fare
$2/person, one-way
Temporarily fareless service effective March 30, 2020.
- Ticket booklets are available at the Riverfront Community Center office to aid riders in paying their fare.
- Exact fares are required. Drivers do not carry change.
Eligibility
The Call-A-Ride service is generally available to Albany residents who are:
- Senior citizens 60 years of age and older, OR
- People of all ages with disabilities who are unable to access fixed route bus services.

How to ride
Bicycle racks:
All buses are equipped with bicycle racks that hold two bikes. Access is first come, first served. We cannot accommodate motorized, oversized, or any bicycle that will not fit on the bicycle rack. Bikes are not allowed on-board. Bike lockers are available to rent at Albany Station. Call Albany Transit at 541-917-7667 for more information.
Bus stops:
Major streets in Albany have marked Albany Transit bus stops. An Albany Transit bus will automatically stop for a person waiting at one of these marked bus stops.
Park & Ride locations:
- North Albany Park & Ride: On Hickory Road behind the grocery store in North Albany
- LBCC Park & Ride: In the south parking lot, west of Takena Hall

Travel training:
Albany Transit offers free travel training to persons who just need a little coaching in order to use ATS buses. If you would like travel training, please call 541-917-7667.
Wheelchair lifts:
Albany Transit offers wheelchair lift service. Lift-equipped buses provide accessible service on all bus trips. Transit operators will assist passengers on and off the bus. Albany Call-A-Ride is available for individuals who require curb-to-curb service.

Albany Transit Implementation Strategy
Due to the 2017 transportation funding package passed by the Oregon legislature, Albany can increase service for the first time in decades. Building on the 2018 Transit Development Plan (TDP), this Implementation Strategy is a detailed plan to double Albany’s transit service.
